Ben is a music producer/engineer and artist manager with over fifteen years of industry experience. His production/engineering credits include Mos Def, TV On The Radio, Ledisi, Shayna Steele, Crystal Monee Hall, and Spencer Day. He manages a roster of artists that includes Grammy Winners Mickey Hart and Lady Rizo. He is owner of Yonas Media, an independent production company whose goal is to be a cooperative launching pad for musicians who have an original approach to creating and performing music. Yonas is an assistant professor of music business at The University of Memphis as well as board member of the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum and he belongs to the National Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Audio Engineering Society. He holds degrees in music and economics from the University of Michigan and is pursuing an MBA from the University of Memphis.
